Witton News: A Call For Articles

From the end of August The Witton News will begin, with issues every two months. There will be six issues produced by the Tamed project and then we are hoping that a group from Witton will come together to continue it afterwards. The issues will come out as follows:

1) End of August
2) Mid October
3) Mid December
4) Mid February
5) Mid April
6) Handover issue in mid June

So look out for them in the local shops, through Deykin Avenue school or you can request them to your door by emailing.........

 jenni.colesharris@gmail.com .

We are looking for local residents to add articles to the Witton News about local events and activities, stories about living or working in the area, poetry and/or drawings from children and/or adults and information about local businesses. If you have anything to add, contact Jenni on the email address above.

Each issue has a general theme, so if you have something specific for one of the issues, we would also like to hear from you- the first three themes are:
1) Wildlife
2) People and Places
3) Industrial Witton
the other themes will follow.

If you would like to get involved in the Witton News, including in the design, in writing or collecting articles or in distribution, please get in touch.
