The Aston Villa ground is behind and Serpentine Road is that nearest. During the late Victorian period a funfair was held near this site.
In 2014 the Environment Agency will begin improvements to the flood defences in Witton and Perry Barr. MADE is working alongside them to involve artists and communities in this work and to explore the cultural heritage of the area up until the present day.
